The Club has an Under 18s group which meets on two Sunday mornings each month from 10.00 - 11.30 a.m.
The youngsters have the chance to play games together, practise skills and have fun whilst they learn about the game. As they develop their skills and become more confident, they can opt to join the Club and enter internal, regional and national competitions. The Club has significantly reduced membership rates for Under 18s and Families (one adult and up to 3 children aged under 18).
The Club can also provide coaching for the Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
I am DBS certificated, an accredited coach and have helpers with me whenever necessary. Occasionally, other coaches are present to give specific skills expertise. Parents are more than welcome to stay for the first few sessions. However, children younger than 10 must be accompanied by their responsible adult at all times.
Consider the following questions. Do any of them apply to your child?
Do they like to learn new skills?
Do they like chess?
Do they like to solve computer problems?
Do they like to be challenged?
