Afternoon tea is served at the club whenever there is a tournament. Tea consists of cakes, home-made or otherwise and cups of tea. Tea is usually served from 4pm to about 5pm unless the event manager requests otherwise.
Numbers depend on the size of the event and could be anything from 10 to 30. There is an instruction sheet in the kitchen on where things are and what to do, but for your first time it is best to make tea with someone with experience. It is always helpful if you can do two days together. Players are very grateful for tea and you will get to meet other members and visitors. Players are charged for tea and your expenses are reimbursed.
